You’ll have to excuse me for using the word new so often, but every aspect of the “Great Aussie Bush Show” is new right through to the public address system.
The children’s entertainment industry is more highly competitive now than ever before with a surge of new acts on the scene cashing in on the Wiggles image. Bands with coloured Tee Shirts and a dancing costumed character or two. Remember the “Great Aussie Bush Show is a pantomime, complete with story line and villain. All our puppet characters speak and they have their own unique personality. Our show also features music (three songs) during the performance, one of which involves bringing five children on stage to play musical instruments. We are a lot more than a singing group with costumed characters.
The performance is completely interactive with the children. Our Host (Jackaroo Jack) involves the audience from the minute he walks on stage. The children assist in many aspects of the performance, from finding Kenny Kangaroo to answering simply questions on stage.
We entertain and educate simultaneously. Topics covered in the performance include anti smoking – anti littering – self esteem – protective behaviours – learning to read –
and more. During the performance we sing, dance, laugh, trick the villain
(Grumpy Old Swaggy), invite children on stage and play music. After the show our costumed characters join the audience for a meet and greet.
We come complete with EVERYTHING. Stage sets, public address system, dressing room facilities, marquee for outdoor performances and a great attitude. We also provide our clients with a comprehensive promotional kit.
To date, we have staged over two hundred (200) performances across four (4) states and we recently placed a second crew on the road, so now there are two (2) “Great Aussie Bush Shows” available to cope with the bookings.
