BIOGRAPHIES
David Dixon
David Dixon has done just about everything as a performer.
He was the lead singer of super successful 90's pop band "Indecent Obsession". He's hosted TV shows, starred in "Home & Away" and then went on to play a host of starring roles in theatre. He rocked in "Smoky Joe's Café" and broke hearts as Marius in "Les Misérables" as well as playing the title role in "Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat". So whether it's because he is a pop star, a TV star, a theatre star or whether it's just those boyish good looks, your guests will be absolutely transfixed by this dynamite entertainer.
Rodney Dobson
One of the most likeable characters of Australian theatre, "Dobbo" has made a career out of performing in the biggest musicals ever to reach our shores.
Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Sunset Boulevard to name but a few. He gave the crowds what they liked as 'the Big Bopper' in Buddy the Musical and stripped completely naked in The Full Monty as the fat guy Dave. When he sings the enormously powerful "Stars" from Les Miserables the audience will know they've just heard something truly incredible.
Scott Irwin
When they cast a musical in this country that requires a hero, Scott's name is always one of the first to be mentioned.
It could be because he has the chiseled movie star good looks that saw him nominated for "Cleo's Most Eligible Bachelor of the Year" two years running, or it could be because he has theatre credits that would be the envy of any aspiring performer; Grease, Rocky Horror, Les Misérables and Kiss Me Kate to name a few. Scott has most recently played the leading man Billy Bigelow in Carousel in Brisbane. But when he unleashes his powerful voice on your event and transforms into Disney anti- hero Gaston (the role he played in "Beauty and the Beast"), a warning - ladies beware!
Darryl Lovegrove
An adopted aussie from the land of the long white cloud, Darryl has a voice that is one in a million.
A voice that has seen him win the "Australian Singing Competition", perform in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber tour opposite Sarah Brightman as well as being cast in Les Miserables, Chess, The World Goes Round and as John Lennon in Looking Through a Glass Onion.
Darryl has most recently starred opposite Glenn Shorrock and Doug Parkinson in the Australian and New Zealand tour of the Lennon - McCartney concert Let It Be. Yet his outstanding portrayal of Jesus in the Australasian tour of Jesus Christ Superstar is the one they still talk about. His spine tingling rendition of Gethsemane will bring your event into sharp focus, raising the bar along with hair on the back of your neck!
Derek Metzger
One of Australia's finest song and dance men, the charming Derek has been performing in theatre and concerts all his life.
42nd Street, The Wizard of Oz, The Pirates of Penzance and Chess are just a few of his extensive list of credits. He won a prestigious "Green Room" Award for his classic portrayal of the cheeky cockney larrikin Bill Snibson in the Australasian tour of Me & My Girl. A sheer delight to watch, Derek possesses both the power and the poise to elevate your event to the next level! In 2008, Derek starred in the Australian production of Spamalot.
Ian Stenlake
Ian is one of Australia's hottest stars of TV and the stage.
Most recently starring as Comm. Officer Mike Flynn in Channel Nine drama Sea Patrol and as Sky Masterton in Guys and Dolls. Ian previously starred for the first five years as Oscar Stone in Stingers a role he left to take the lead role of Cliff in the Australasian tour of Cabaret. In Eureka the Musical he fought for a fair go, and he recently shone as he starred in the lead role of Curly in Oklahoma! His rousing "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" is a highlight for all ages.
Handsome and very funny, Ian is a Leading Man your audience will not want to miss!
