I travel throughout the world singing in 5 Star Luxury Hotels and Jazz clubs. I have two CDs out. One is jazz with a twist of cabaret, entitled SOMETHING COOL and the other is an original anthology entitled I LOVE BEING ABROAD. I have a vast and varied repertoire, I interact with the audience, share antecdotes and humor, get the audience involved, create a mood depending on what is called for.

Besides English as my mother tongue I sing in Spanish, Italian and French. I am a goodwill ambassador of music and entertainment. I work with local musicians a pianist, bass and drums. Or as a duo with guitarist or pianist. Julie Cascioppo, jazz vocal stylist, has thrilled and entranced audiences in the finest nightclubs on four continents. Julie has brought her husky, reedy trained contralto, her vast and ever expanding repertoire of songs and her theatrical preence to New York, Paris, Rio de Janerio, Istanbul and many points beyond, finding favor everywhere.

Julie is a longtime headliner at Seattle's prestigious Pink Door Cabaret. One of Seattle's most visible songstresses, she has been featured on numerous television shows and at "Bumbershoot," Seattle's great interntional arts festival. Julie has also enjoyed lengthy runs at the Hotel La Fayette, the Hotel george V, and the Plaza Athenee in Paris, and other great european 5 Star hotels and cruise ships.

Noted for her communicative singing and her ability to interact creatively with an audience, Julie has been sought out to entertain some of the worlds most sophisticated citizens, performing in parties honoring Cary Grant, Mikhail Baryshnikov and at the American Embassy in Paris for Ambassador Gailbreth and his guests. The world famed choreographer, Mark Morris, built his dance, Mythologies, around Julie Cascioppo's talents.

Julie is a composer as well as a singer. She brings the experience of creativity in jazz and blues to vibrant life with verve and charm.
