AZITIZ have been described as a retro 70s to 90s band who play the classic hits but with a fresh and funky new feel. They're a 4 piece outfit that can deliver a big sound that will surprise and please you.You could be forgiven for thinking you were listening to an 8 piece line up...it's often a full sound with brass string and synth sounds overlaid on the keyboards, and 4 part vocal harmonies.

Getano Bann (guitar, lead vocals)
Getano is Azitiz' incomparable lead singer and guitarist whos voice has been compared to chocolate, if chocolate could sing. Getano works as a registered music therapist and is a formidable entertainer at night. He has well over 25 years performing experience and is an established singer/songwriter who has rubbed shoulders with some of the worlds leading folk and world music artists. He has recently returned from a tour of the Torres Straight Islands where he was writing music and working with children. His relaxed style of entertaining has instant appeal to a wide range of audiences.
Martin Grigg (keyboards)
Martin comes from a very musical family, and at 5 years his favourite toy was the grand piano in his parents living room! In spite of formal tuition and musical qualifications his greatest skill has always been his unique ability to improvise and play by ear, which he has now developed to a high degree of professionalism. He has played with several bands including r & b line up Line of Fire, popular showband Hanky Panky, and is an established member of The Caribbean Kings Band. His playing experience has taken him all over Australia to top hotels, resorts and corporate functions. He is also involved in music writing projects and originals composition. His creative keyboard enterpretation and diverse style adds depth and warmth to Azitiz.
Danny Mose (bass)
Danny is a journeyman, using his gift of musicianship to lead him to places and countries. A gifted bass player and vocalist, Danny has toured with a variety of bands, from showbands to duets. He recently toured the city of Chicago and Indiana with a soul gospel band, and has toured up and down the coast of Queensland from Hamilton Is to the small country town of Chinchilla, Danny's heritage is of Polynesian descent, which enriches audiences with his raw blend of natural talent and precision when performing his bass solos to warm melodic harmonies.
Linus Monsour (drums and percussion
Linus started his professional career at 19 as drummer for the QPAC musical Sherwoodstock, and has continued to play many musicals at various pro theatre companies in Brisbane. Other shows, bands and tours include Deep Thought, Phantom of the opera, Little Shop of Horrors, Charters Towers, The Musical, Lottie- the Musical, Zimbira, Tongue & Groove, Scaraban, Friends of the Igwana, Maybe Babies- to name a few. He is the most recent addition to the Azitiz and his tight drum feels and pulsating rhythms will have you on the dance floor in no time at all!
