Here is some of Scott's experience:

1982-1985 Nowry Thompson Speech and Drama Max Rowley School of radio: Voice over, announcing, Television Presentation and every aspect of training in T.V. and Radio. 1988-1990 Dr Norbett Maya. Six-week program. Acting Training course then toured a play called “Stocaloc and Millipilli” all over Queensland performing at schools.

1989-1990 Queensland Theatre Company. Including: Workshops, plays and acting training. Shakespeare and the Classics Experience

1977-1984: Sweet Poison. Original band, played drums and sang.

1984-1988: Wings. Theatre Restaurant. Byron Bay. Played some Characters, Musicals like: Fanny get your gun”, “Hello Dolly” and any show that needed a performer. My brother owned it, my mum was artistic Director

1988-1990: Twelfth Night Theatre. Bowen Hills Brisbane Acting in “The Winslow Boy”, “Birthday Party”

1992-1996: All round entertainer. Including: M.C, Singer, and actor, D.J. & Spruiker. Working with Brisbane agent: Queensland Onstage. Various venues all over Brisbane & The Sunshine Coast including Corporate functions. The venues included every five star hotel in Brisbane. 2SERfm: Radio Announcer/Voice Overs/Characters etc;

1997: “Maz goes Crackers for Christmas.” A Seasonal Musical. Singing, Dancing and Character work.

1996-1998: Actor with the Comedy Players. Gold Coast. “It runs in the Family” an English Farce , it toured for three months to Caloundra/Gold Coast Arts centre, Gold Coast little theatre. Le Groove, Show band. Sheraton Indonesia, 2 months. The band played six nights a week from Monday to Saturday, a highly successful season; they broke their past records for bar revenue.

1997-1998 Oz Rock. Theatre Restaurant. Maroochydore. Main Character, Comedy routines as “Crocodile Undie”& “Dame Edna”. Scott sang Australian songs from 1960’s to present day.

 1999-2001: Entertainment Manager. Twin Waters resort, Ocean Drive Mudjimba. Sunshine Coast. Duties included corporate conferencing, a whole spectrum of events including Christmas shows to children shows, activities in the day for the children, theme nights, Karaoke, plays. Scott was an MC, Disc Jockey, singer, impersonator (Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Joe Cocker) and all round dogs’ body, working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager.

2001-2006: The Comedy Castle. Theatre restaurant. Tugun, Queensland. He was also the Lead actor/Singer, Comedian for 4 years; Scott played four characters, including Elwood Blues, The Duke of Earl, an American game show host, impersonated singers: Joe Cocker/Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin and Louis Armstrong What Now?

 2006-Present Day: Building up his solo career, Scott has been performing with backings at Tugun Seahawks, Robina Bowls and Binna Burra and rehearsing in a Duo called Jazzstar. Over the last 4 years Scott has toured to Canada and Houston, Texas and played drums and sang backup vocals with local, original band, Future Native. They have filmed 3 music videos and are recording their third album. His interest and experience together with his hands on approach makes Scott and invaluable performer, coupled with unique ability to know what an audience wants.
Scott gets satisfaction from knowing he’s done the best he can for that audience. The audiences he has performed for have loved to dance and remember a bygone era. Now Scott would like to find work as either a solo or Duo, depending on Venues budget.
