 DANGERFIELD! ADELAIDE ACOUSTIC DUODangerfield! is two guys, two guitars and two voices playing great acoustic music from the 60's to today.
Dangerfield!play music from the sixties to today in a broad range of styles, ideal for pubs, parties, birthdays, receptions, and corporate functions. Being unsequenced means they provide a much more intimate and involving performance. Their style and obvious enjoyment brings fun to whatever event you're hosting, without being too intrusive. Dangerfield! are Brett Monten and Rick Cannon.
Brett has been playing the Adelaide band scene for many years and started the duo early in 2007. “Even when playing in commercial rock bands, I've always shied away from sequenced or pre-recorded music”, he says. “There's something about producing the music live that adds an extra intimacy, flexibility and energy that you just can't get any other way”.
Rick is a relative newcomer to the Adelaide circuit, having recently moved here from interstate. His playing style and vocal ability are perfectly suited to the acoustic forum.
The boys combine like they've been playing together forever. Both have similar playing styles and approach to music, and the enjoyment they get from their craft is obvious from the first song.
