Sydney, NSW, Australia

Yo Yo is a very new project for Rick Graham and Tony Buggy.

Yo Yo only began  because we needed something that was totally portable. So far we've have performed at Star City Retail Arcade, a reception for Olympian Michael Johnson (Aria Restaurant, Bennelong Point),The Helpman Awards (foyer only), Lyric Theatre, Rosehill Racecourse (Ladies Day) and The Members Entrance - Rosehill Racecourse - Golden Slipper Day - Westfield Shopping Centres - The Rocks and ,any Private Functions.

We play a repertoire that is not usually associated with accordion and flamenco guitar - and already our clients have opted to have a drummer (just snare and hi-hat, hand percussion) join us. The repertoire at the moment is

  • Englishman in New York
  • How Insensitive
  • Time is Tight
  • Meditation
  •  Delilah
  •  Autumn Leaves
  •  Blue Bossa
  •  I Can't Help Falling In Love With You
  •  Black Orpheus
  •  Land Down Under
  •  Moondance
  •  Brazil
  •  Anniversary Waltz
  •  Yesterday
  •  Girl from Ipenema
  •  Look of Love
  •  Green Dolphin Street
  •  So What
  •  All Blues
  •  Constant Craving
  •  Michelle
  •  Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Our Bio:

In an era where big festivals have become a way of life, there is an increasing need for musicians to 'hit the road'. Portable entertainment has become the 'order of the day' at more and more venues such as Darling Harbour, Star City Casino and The Rocks. Rick Graham and Tony Buggy have joined the ranks of the 'street performer' with their new project - 'Yoyo'.

Imagine the music of 'Sting' played on accordion and flamenco guitar. What about 'Men at Work' given the same treatment. If you can imagine this, you can imagine 'Yoyo'.
