ALTERNATIVE FOLK-METAL ROCK BAND
Original alternative band drawing on diverse influences from metal, goth, folk, punk and glam rock with a focus on aggressive high energy performance.

inVoid formed early in 2007 when singer/songwriter Bradley St Bradley left Perth hardcore act 26 Parallel and joined forces with Doom Metal guitarist Nathan Schultz, Rock drummer Jon May (ex Boticelli's Angel) and bassist Benn Webb. Later that year they recorded a five track demo with Andy at Rebel Rehearsal Studios in Booragoon.
In 2008 they began to include some keys and samples into their songs - courtesy of the multi-talented Benn Webb - and the current inVoid sound began to develop. Later that year, release This Butterfly, off their demo CD, went to number one on the Triple J Unearthed Metal chart. A re-mixed version of (Turn off the) Television went to number two and Salt Air went to number seven.
In October 2009 they recorded their first radio quality CD, an EP length recording titled “Betrayal,” with Al “Dr Alien” Smith at Bergerk! Studios. Betrayal showcases the songwriting talents of both Bradley and Nathan, with two songs – (Turn off the)Television and The Seeds of Doom – penned by Bradley, and three songs – Deicide, Release This Butterfly and Fish Out of Water – penned by Nathan. In the same month they played support for the CD launch of fast-rising Glam/Goth act The Creptter Children at the Fly By Night club in Fremantle.
