A band that can deliver the absolute best Aussie traditional music on banjo, mandolin, whistle, fiddle, guitars, blues harp, lagerphone and more……………..and then switch in part or fully to keyboard, wind synthesizer and bass, lead and rhythm guitar to play rock and country to die for, including of course the best of contemporary Australiana……and all in a Rock Wallabies package of 4 clever old 'been-there-done-that’ blokes
 
Not only could we put on stageshows from 30 minutes to an hour for example, and deliver 3 or 4 completely different shows, we could, given the right location, have an audience bushdancing, or involved in a number of ways, singing along, dingo-howling, …………..quacking…………..and when it comes to entertaining and involving tiny tots we’re     also experienced movers and shakers…………………………..
…………………..….and of course……….a roving we can go!

          Providing a rich vocal harmony with a verity of instruments that includes guitars, fiddle, Bagpipes, whistles, Banjo and bass, along with sequenced keyboards and drums. “Rock Wallabys” can pick from their extensive list of tunes to create either an easy listening lay back mood, through to a focused, and enthusiastic performance, which includes lots of audience involvement. Featuring both Australian and Celtic folk music with songs from artists such as: Van Morrison, Paul Kelly, Kristy Moore, Eric Bogle, The Furies, Redgum, and John Williamson, as well as Aussie bush ballads, Irish, and Scottish reels, and jigs, and Rock ‘N’ Roll to give people a show they’ll never forget.
 
The “Rock Wallabys have many years experience in running bush dances with a caller, so that everyone will be quickly dancing like an expert. The band pride themselves on getting everyone up on the dance floor and enjoying themselves, in the Aussie style. Rock Wallabys can also cater for both children’s shows and old-time dancing so that everyone is catered for...
 
From weddings, parties, and backyard BBQ’s right through to Balls, and corporate functions, the “Rock Wallabys” can provide you with a unique Australian experience...

The band can rove with instruments acoustically, or alternatively a full production can be provided for all performances. The P.A. can cater for both small and large rooms, as well as outside venues.
