We are the Canberra Covers band "Something Like This". We are one of the biggest bands in the local cover's scene and we are very frequently booked at the most popular venues in and around town such as King O'Malley's (Civic), The Durham (Kingston), The Hellenic Club (Woden) and many more. We are beginning to expand into corporate events and private functions such as weddings. We have tours planned for Perth, Sydney, South Coast, and Perisher/Thredbo all in 2010. We have a Website, a Facebook page with over 1100 fans, and a twitter page. We have an excellent local following and are in constant touch with our fans via the Websites, and have appealed to many different types of audiences at all our performances.
"Always poised to make a dominant impression on the entertainment circuit Something Like This stormed onto the scene with a ‘take no prisioners’ attitude. In less than 12 months they have captured the imagination of audiences which seldom sees them without bookings. A vital ingredient to their early success has been their appetite for performing live. Not afraid to travel, 2010 will see them perform in Perth, Melbourne and the NSW Snow Fields.
With a taste for the unpredictable expect them to unleash a cocktail of hits featuring Dragon, Rick Springfield, Van Morrison, Men at Work, Midnight Oil, John Cougar Mellencamp, Elvis, The Police, Choirboys and The Beatles.
