About Us

We are a versatile Melbourne based group of musicians and have been together since 2007 and with a few changes along the way we have stabilised and enjoy making music together to please the crowd. We have played to many different audiences such as Hotel venues, Lilydale Show, Men's Health Forum, Go Country, 25th Annual Gay & Lesbian Ball, Private and Corporate Functions, Disco/Dance events, Birthday Parties and much more.

We have also played at some outstanding locations such as the Peaches & Cream Festival which was huge. We had the opportunity to play with big names such as Taxi-ride and Cog. Recently we have added venues such as The Hallam Hotel, The Burvale Hotel, The Noise Bar, Brighton Savoy, Ferntree Gully Hotel, Monash Hotel and many Country Hotels.

Our musicians are well seasoned with each of us having many years experience in the music industry. Jacqui is the last of Transit's founding members and has been singing since she was a small child. Our Drummer Mark has been overseas playing in his own band in hotels and clubs for many years, our Bass Player/backing vocalist Sarina has many years experience playing in cover bands around town, likewise has Jesse our guitarist/vocalist. We also have a resident keyboardist who is new to Australia but comes with many years experience in England. Put the mix together and you have a very professional but fun band ready to make your special occasion unique!

We play songs from the 70's to the now and play many different genres. We play what the people want to hear and in the pages following you will see pictures, set lists, and samples of our music.

*The band is also available for acoustic sets, duo's, trios and quartets and we can add special guest musicians such as trumpeters etc.
