DOUBLE LABEL Double Label is a versatile duo that plays all your favourite songs from 50s to current with an ability and strong background in soul and jazz, perfect for weddings, corporate shows or any function both large and small. Double Label takes advantage of high quality backing tracks using real instruments, live loops and samples but is also able to play as a stripped back duo for quieter and more ambient functions.


Vocals, Maddy.

 At the age of 19 years old, Maddy has made leaps and bounds in the South Australian live music scene. Compared to the likes of Etta James and Bessie Smith with a rich and luscious vocal sound, Maddy delivers soul, jazz, blues and R&B music with an understanding and appreciation for the styles. Highlights have included first place awards in various vocal competitions in South Australia and Victoria including first prize in the National Amateur Song Contest held by Star Vision Entertainment, Playing the infamous Manly Jazz Festival in Sydney and singing onstage with Aria Award winner Josh Pyke as part of his 2007 ‘Memories & Dust’ Tour.

Guitars and Vocals,

Paul. Paul is an accomplished musician in many areas on many instruments, known as a solo performer his tasteful guitar playing and stong vocals have been impressing audiences for years. Paul has held resident gigs in such places as: Elephant&Wheelbarrow, Hard Rock Cafe, P.J. O'Briens, Cargo Club, Crown&Sceptre, The Baron Townhouse and Various Fringe festivals. Paul also won 2 Samia awards for 'Best new artist and most popular artist (2000) and successfully completed a Bachelor of music.
