THE MOOD INDIGO DUO

Mood Indigo is a violin and piano duo playing sophisticated music for weddings and events. We have a repertoire of classical pieces perfect for wedding processionals and recessionals. For receptions, cocktail parties and events we have a classy selection of jazz standards, classic and contemporary popular songs. Vocals are available as an added feature. Mood Indigo can play music at your request. Given enough notice we will learn songs for your event or wedding.

Our repertoire includes jazz songs such as Moon River, My baby just cares for me; popular songs from Brian Adams, The Beatles and Stevie Wonder; classical pieces from Bach, Handel and Vivaldi; and varied styles such as tango and french chanson.

James (piano) and Jacinta (violin) are experienced performers with eclectic tastes in music. Jacinta is a versatile and in-demand violinist who has performed in tango orchestras in Australia, Argentina and America. She regularly plays in classical orchestras and string quartets in Sydney and has also performed in styles such as flamenco and cabaret. James is a singer and instrumentalist who has performed in major venues around Australia including Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Parramatta Riverside Theatre, Woodford Folk Festival and many others. He has toured nationally a number of times in genres including flamenco, tango, classical and jazz.
