BLUE VELVET JAZZ

BVJ is a professional Sydney-based band performing Jazz, Contemporary, Latin and Lounge music, setting the perfect mood with a classic repertoire from jazz greats such as Chet Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Carlos Jobim, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday and Julie London.

 

The line-up is adaptable, using musicians and instrumentation to suit the venue and occasion, and features Michael Trifunovic on Guitar, and Sarah Lorien's vocals.

All band members are accomplished musicians, they have performed throughout Australia, most recently at venues including the Intercontinental, Darling Harbour,Hilton Hotel,Sheraton On The Park,Kirribilli House, corporate functions and events; and weddings, media launches, birthday celebrations and cocktail parties.

 

The members of Blue Velvet Jazz have also performed with a great variety of ensembles and groups encompassing many genres of music, enhancing their performance and passion for Jazz.
