Brendan James is a talented entertainer whose charisma and vocal talent is demonstrated by his ability to entertain from the moment he appears on stage. From singing to MC or DJ, Brendan's performances are engaging, creative and passionate. In 2000, Brendan moved to London to develop his vocal and entertainment skills. He performed in various showcases, tribute acts, and jazz festivals including a season in a new West End Musical, Theatre of Dream, the story of the Manchester Football Club and the life and times of Sir Matt Busby. Brendan also spent time on stage with the cast of 125th Street, West End production. Brendan also appeared on UK national TV (BBC Live) and radio program (BBC News).

He returned to Australia in 2003 and continues to perform in a wide variety of settings ranging from casinos, sports and RSL clubs to weddings, birthdays and private functions nationwide. In 2006, Brendan featured in John Michael Howson's "Hooray for Hollywood" and toured across the east coast of Australia.

Brendan has showcased his entertainment skills for numerous corporate clients and their special events including shows at Crown Casino (Melbourne) and Melbourne Convention Centre for clients including the Australian Football League, Red Ball (Performance alongside Hugh Jackman), Australian Transport Industry Awards, The Robert Allenby Ball, Garnier, United Group, Heineken, Transurban Victoria, Vodafone, Mazda, Shell Petroleum, Disney, Kirwan Group, Red Cross, National Australia Bank, Korda Mentha Group. Brendan has performed along side artists such as Hugh Jackman, John Farnham, Todd McKinney, Vanessa Amorosi, The Deltones, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Ross Wilson and James Reyne to name a few.

He has also performed at Peninsula Golf Club, 16 Ellis Street (South Yarra), Events Warehouse (Docklands), Windy Hill (Essendon Football Club), Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Star TV (Hong Kong), Kooyong Tennis Club, Federation Square, Telstra Dome (Melbourne) and he has performed for the Victorian State Government-Department of Justice, City of Melbourne, City of Stonnington, City of Bayside, City of Port Phillip and the Royal Victorian Institue for the Blind (RVIB).

Brendan has participated in hosting community television (Channel 31) and has been interviewed by ABC Radio 774, Herald Sun and The Age, Melbourne.
