Tyson Colman is a singer / composer of Country and Country Rock Music. Tyson has grown up with the true essence of Country Music, and this reflects in his highly emotive compositions. Tyson taught himself to play guitar when he was fifteen and began singing from the time he could talk.

A strong baritone / tenor voice, now highly polished after five years of classical vocal training, he sings with a clean, unique quality that definitely makes you stop and listen. In 1994 Tyson played a young Elvis Presley in the stage musical Shades of Elvis. This production consisted of five lead singers, each portraying a different aspect of Elvis' career. The musical toured Northern NSW, South East Queensland and North Queensland and was well received on all occasions.

To further his career as a Country performer, in 1996, Tyson produced the self funded CD "God's Own Country". The CD consists of ten original songs, all with a strong Country flavour. One of his songs. "I Just Can't Do It " was played on 92.5 GOLD FM. The largest "over 25" commercial station in South East Queensland. The song was played for a six week period and was aired at various times , on average twice a day. It was also aired in the the very popular Love songs after dark section. Which is from 6pm to midnight.

Tyson has received great support from local stations, such as FM101 Logan, CCR FM in Cairns, 4 OUR FM in Caboolture, BAY FM in Thornlands, and AAA Murray Country in Brisbane. Tyson would also like to thank the many radio stations throughout Europe, USA and UK for their support. On Monday, 31.08.98. 92.5 GOLD FM played Tyson's single "But I Love Him". This went to air Nationally across Australia, in the "After Dark" section with Judy Ford.

Tyson released a new recording of his song "Country Boy" . It appearred on the Spring 1999 , International Country Music Sampler by the very successful Independent American Record Label, "Comstock Records". and reached Number 16 in the Independant European Country Charts (ECMA). On Saturday, 12.06.99. "Country Boy" entered the Mildura HOT FM Top 100 COUNTRY HITS. Tyson is a proud graduate of the "CMAA College Of Country Music 2000". Tyson was awarded "Male Country Vocalist" in the 2001 Queensland Variety "Wallace Awards". Tyson was awarded "Male Cabaret Vocalist" in the 2002 Queensland Variety "Wallace Awards". Currently performing at venues around South -East Queensland, as a solo performer and with vocal duo 2TC.
