CARMODY QUARTET

The Carmody Quartet is a Brisbane-based string quartet, specialising in providing high-quality music for weddings, business functions, corporate events, birthday parties, and other special events, with repertoire ranging from light classical to Muse, including light pop, jazz, musical theatre, and soundtrack music in between. Our repertoire is available to see in the navigation, and recordings are also in the same section. We are all university students, with a base standard of AmusA (an Associate Diploma in Music).
We can offer any number of players, from solo to quartet, and if you would like extra instruments or vocalists, arrangements can be made easily to accomodate that, and we aim to provide the highest quality entertainment for an affordable price.

No matter what your event may be, we can provide the perfect accompaniment.The Carmody Quartet is a Brisbane-based string quartet, comprising of violinists Helen Todd and Ben Wu, violist Katie Yap and cellist Michael Hsieh. The Quartet specialises in functions such as weddings and business functions, but our repertoire ranges from classical music and hymns to popular music and show tunes arranged for quartet. Furthermore, we will strive to accomodate any requests that you may have. We also have numerous selections of beautiful arrangements of Ghibli movie soundtracks, which we are quite proud of. We are all university students, with a base standard of AmusA (an Associate Diploma in Music). We can offer any number of players, from solo to quartet, and if you would like extra instruments, arrangements can be made easily to accomodate that. We can also provide a vocal quartet, or any number of singers from solo to quartet.
