Aleisha McCormack is regular cast member and writer for Network Ten’s 7pm show. She was born in Newcastle and although she spent a lot of her adult years in Hobart, she regularly visits and performs in her home town.
 
In 2007 Aleisha made it to the national finals of the Stand Up comedy competition, Raw Comedy. She has performed stand up comedy regularly over the past 2 years in both Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.
 
Aleisha was a presenter for ABC TVs Second Opinion and an on-air regular on Charles Wooley’s National Radio programme. She has worked as a writer for Glenn Robbins TV program Out of The Question and Rove.
 
In 2009 Aleisha made her Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut in 'Dead to Me', performed at the Old Magistrates Court.
