Jason ‘Jabba’ Davis has been a familiar face to Australian Television and Radio audiences for over 15 years. A versatile broadcaster, performer, actor, interviewer, writer, presenter, MC, DJ, comic and voice-over artist, Jabba  began his career on subscription TV’s first inception, Galaxy.

Today’s Foxtel audiences would be familiar with his hosting,presenting and interviews across Channel V, MAX, The LifeStyle Channel and most recently on the National Geographic Channel hosting Curiosity Week.

Jabba’s acting roles on free to air television have included Fat Pizza, Swift and Shift, Garage Days and in 2011 the first series of the outrageous series Housos for SBS. In children’s broadcasting, he was the voice of the scarecrow Hayman in Dirt Girl World.

A well known member of the music media fraternity, Jabba has presented across Australia’s music awards including the ARIAs, the first ever Rolling Stone Awards, as well as  The Jack Awards & the OzMusic Awards. He has covered the Big Day Out for the music channels since it’s inception, featured in the documentary Homebake-Rebel With A Cause, MC’ed red carpets, press conferences and product launches.

Also an experienced radio broadcaster, Jabba launched Nova 106.9FM in Brisbane in 2005, as well as hosting Nova’s first Live National Radio Show – The Official Motorola Aria Chart Show, which ran from January 2006 to December 2008. His time in radio saw him win the Queensland Radio Awards ‘Goldie’ for Best New Talent in 2006, an ACRA award for ‘Best Music Personality’ (2007), & ‘Best Produced Music Special- Jabba & Foo Fighters’(2008), and GQ Magazine’s Man Of The Year – ‘Radio Personality Of The Year’ (2008).

Turning to print, Jabba has written for many publications including The Sun-Herald, Grazia and Rolling Stone Magazine and is a regular contributor to Encore Magazine.
