DR RHYTHM BEATBOXER

Dr. Rhythm, The Human Drum Machine is fast becoming one of Australia’s favourite entertainers.
When beatboxing he mixes his passion for Music with his comical personality to leave his audience amazed and in hysterics, always anticipating what will he do next? He spits everything not just hip hop, styles of house, swing, kid’s cartoons and even some of those cheesy hits from the nineties you chose to forget about.

As a Host / Mc at events he is professional but also himself and manages to keep any event flowing and entertaining at the times when people need to be kept in their seats! After moving from New Zealand to the UK, he toured with fellow beatboxer Bass6 as the first ever UK beatbox duo Rhythm and Bass. While in London he entered the 2006 London Beatboxing Championship which he won, then went onto the UK Beatbox champs and finished in the semi-finals putting him in the top four beatboxers in the UK. In Aug 06 he made Brisbane his new home, quickly building up a rep for his crowd pleasing Elmo routine, what people remember him most for. In 2008 he performed on Australia’s Got Talent where he impressed the judge’s, especially Danni Minogue, and made it through to the semi finals putting him in the top 40 acts in Australia. The show even had him back as a stand out act to perform at the Grand Final Show. He was signed to the Gold Coast Blaze Basketball team as the official beatboxer for the team and part of entertainment squad the Inferno Street Crew. He hosted the Rumble 2008, a 12 hour dance competition, with over 400 competitors and 1000 spectators. It was a long day but he kept it running smoothly and entertaining. He has had memorable shows at The Ekka, Gold Coast Surfers Cracker Festival and one of the biggest crowds at the 2008 Valley Fiesta!

2009 has become a great year for the Dr Rhythm is performing weekly around Australia and on international tours with Raw Dance Company heading to Netherlands and Singapore in September. He’s ripping up the club circuit with a live drum and Dj show with Dj Cutloose. Currently working on a brand new show Majik-Box with street magician Petey, soon to hit the street of Queensland later this year!! With The stage presence of a Dave Chapelle, the looks of Justin Timberlake, the voice of Elmo, the sound fx of a Transformer…. Dr Rhythm is a full entertainment package for you next event.
