Influenced by film noir ‘Liaison’ creates beautiful imagery injected with quirky moments.

Performance history:

Pippa and Annabel have been collaborating since 2004 where they met at NICA and formed the start of an excellent working relationship.

In 2006, they created the duo “The Two Ladies” when they trained together at the National Circus Training Project. Their work on the collective show Caravan refined their creative partnership. They then began performing as a duo at cabaret’s, burlesque nights, and events in Melbourne. In 2007 they decided to expand their horizon’s and have taken on the UK. They have since worked together with various circus companies as well free-lance cabarets, events and festivals throughout the UK.

2008 – The Insect Circus at Camp Bestival, and Bestival (UK) 2008 – Glastonbury Festival (UK) 2007 – Toured with Swamp Circus (UK) 2007 – Gasworks Theatre Cabaret (Australia) 2007 – The Red Door Burlesque (Australia) 2006-07 – Toured “Caravan” in Australia Annabel began her circus career at the age of 12, performing all over the world with the famous Australian youth circus, The Flying Fruit Fly Circus. Since then Annabel has performed with many circus companies, and as a solo and duo performer in festivals, corporate events, cabarets and burlesque shows. Annabel is a versatile and experienced performer with a wide variety of skills and styles.

TRAINING: 1994 – 1999 - Trained with the Flying Fruit Fly Circus in aerials, contortion, and group skills. Trained with various Russian, Chinese, European, and Australian trainers. 2006 - The National Circus Training Project at the Flying Fruit Flies, 2006.

2004 – Diploma of Circus Arts at the National Institute of Circus Arts, Melbourne. PERFORMING HISTORY: 2008 – The Tassel Club (Dublin) – Sirens of Burlesque – Took part in creative development and performance of “Erendira: The Revolution”, as part of the Fuceccio Festival (Italy) – Performed with Swamp Circus at Oxegen Festival (Ireland) - Performed with the Insect Circus at Belfast Festival of Fools - Hula hoops for the Belfast Children’s Festival in various places throughout Belfast - Hula hoops for Paddy’s Day Parade, Belfast 2007 – 2 weeks of Hula hoops and acrobatics for shopping centre opening in Dublin.

2006 – Performed for 6 weeks with premier contemporary circus company “Circa” in Brisbane – Helped devise, produce and performed in “Caravan” at the Melbourne Fringe Festival – Performed “Love Happens” at the Commonwealth Games Arts Festival 2005 – Performed with “Throw Down” at the National Circus Festival 2004 – Performed in NICA’s end of year show “Inferno”.

1994 – 1999 : Performing with the Flying Fruit Fly Circus,included tours to St. Petersburg, New York, and Singapore, as well as throughout Australia. Annabel has also performed solo, duo and group acts, roving and workshops for a large variety of corporate events, festivals and cabaret’s throughout Australia, the UK and Ireland. Pippa Coram: Pippa Coram started performing at the early age of 9 years old and since then has studied many disciplines, beginning in musical theatre and moving into fields such as dance, music and acting. Nevertheless, having circus history in the family, she eventually found her passion for hula-hoops, aerial artistry and other circus skills.

Pippa has performed nationally and internationally as a free-lance artist, staging both solo and duo acts. She combines her skills to create performances with unique style and flair. Training: * Bachelor of Circus Arts at the National Institute of Circus Arts, (N.I.C.A)

* Modelling classes through ‘Electric Legs Modelling Agency’.

2007 - Smirnoff Electric Cabaret - Koko, London. - Performed hula-hoops for The Insect Circus. - Aerial performer for Amway convention - Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. - Ground crew for the ‘Esprit Sky Walk Event’ with Legs on the Wall, Melbourne Central shot tower. - A Barrel of Monkeys, children’s show performed at Federation Square. - Swinging Cloudswing at the opening of the Garden of Unearthly Delights, Adelaide Festival. - Kids Comedy Gala, Adelaide Fringe Festival.

2006 - Static Cloudswing act for the Mazda CX-7, Unexpected Launch. - Tourism Queensland Awards, performing Aerial loops. - Featured Ariel ring artist in the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne.

2005 - Presented a web rope aerial act for Fight Club event at the Queens Bridge Hotel. - Award Ceremony Gala for the Super Horseracing Hero Of The Year in the Palladium at the Crown Casino - web sitter for Misha Reale. - The New Breed, directed by Rodrigo Matheaus staged at the Sydney Opera House. - Devised and performed hula-hoops routine for the N.I.C.A showcase.

2004 - Oracle’s Open World Event at the Queens Bridge Hotel - Performed Hula Hoops as main attraction. - Woodford Folk Festival in Queensland - Performed an array of circus skills in N.I.C.A’s shows, Inferno, My Secret Circus and Cabaret. Pippa has also performed extensively for a large variety of other corporate events, festivals and cabaret’s throughout Australia and the UK.
