Azah (formerly known as Zefirah), is a traditionally trained belly dancer that has re-invented belly dance with fire and danger. Not only has she developed a unique modern interpretation of this ancient dance, she combines it with stunning visual effects such as the fire fans, fire swords, fire eating, fire fakir (manipulation), fire rose (held between her teeth), fire headpieces, fire cauldrons, fire poi, fire double staves, fire snakes and ‘palms of fire’.

Azah is one of Australia’s best all round fire dancers with 16 years fire performance experience and over 22 years of dance experience. She has completed hundreds of performances Australia-wide throughout her career and contiues to wow audiences with her performance maturity. Zefirah has been performing belly dance professionally with Australia's longest established fire troupe for over 7 years and she adapts her fire performances to any event theme with a range of different dance styles and sumptuous costuming.

Fire Belly dance Solo

This is Azah's ultimate and most popular fire show sought after Australia wide. It showcases her signature style of weaving fire into a complex and technical belly dance rotuine. It always leaves countless fans screaming for more. Your guests will feel the heat of the fire, marvel at technical bellydance moves that defy physics and become hypnotized by Azah as she dominates the dance floor. Azah will lure, excite and amaze your guests with breathtaking fire equipment and cutting-edge skills and techniques. Emphasis is put strongly on creating positive energy and mesmerizing your audience. You can choose from a variety of different fire themes to suit any event such as Traditional Eygptian, Gothic or Gypsy.

Roving and/or Meet and Greet

Have a warm and toasty welcome waiting for your guests as they arrive at your special event. Meet and greet gives your guests a chance to marvel at Azah's intricate shimmy work and see how she swallows fire and moves it on and around her body, all while isolating her hips and torso. Roving is also a great opportunity to have Azah weave in and out of your event entertaining guests in both small and large groups, leaving a path of glitter and high spirits behind. The guests are also free to ask questions about the fire and can have their picture taken with Azah as a unique memento of your event.

Non-fire Belly dance Shows

Azah uses a variety of unique props to spice up your event including shimmering butterfly flag poi, flexible broad swords and double canes. These unusual but stunningly brilliant skills are only a few that Azah demonstrates that are exclusive to Azah's unmatched repertoire. The focus is on entertaining and inspiring the audience with mind-boggling belly dance techniques, having fun, letting go of inhibitions and setting a happy and relaxed tone to any event.

Bollywood Fire Show

Bollywood dance is cheesy, comical and a mix of different dance styles all rolled into one. Combine this with fire and you get a vibrant showcase of culture that will thrill your guests. This Bollywood fire show starts with intricate veil work and moves onto Azah trailing fire down her arms and body. The finale builds up with outrageous dance moves and technical fire double staves that are eaten whilst still spinning!

Moulin Rouge Fire Show

Let the windmill wings of the Moulin Rouge embrace you in this fire show with a sexy twist. Azah, your femme fatale at the helm steers you through the delights of Parisian Cabaret dance combined with dangerous fire-eating techniques and fire poi's. This cheeky show is fully clothed with a burlesque feel and Azah runs the fire over different parts of her body. Ooh la la. The show includes some audience participation and clients can nominate audience members to receive special attention. Sacre' bleu! This 'one of a kind' show is the hottest new act in town and the Creme de la creme of innovative fire entertainment.

Spanish Fire Show

A haunting and seductive Flamenco melody accompanies Azah as she smoothly weaves her way in and out of your guests performing Gypsy inspired belly dance. She stops here and there to tease, uplift and inspire the crowd. This is followed up with a spicy Flamenco number where she eats fire and dances with a flaming rose held between her teeth. To top it all off an energetic Salsa track gets your guests clapping, dancing and cheering Azah on as she dances Salsa, Samba and Zumba inspired moves with fans of fire. The show ends with a frenetic fire poi finale. Just like Spanish Tapas, this fire show has abundance and variety guaranteed to satisfy all of your guests' different tastes.
