Hipnotic Bellydance provides expert tuition, exquisite performances and exciting events. Tamara is a graceful and highly experienced dancer and is available solo, with a troupe or with her band "Muziz". Tamara has performed around Australia, working with some of the country's finest musicians. A versatile performer, Tamara dances at festivals, restaurants and private and corporate functions.

The varied and skilful movements demonstrated through this dance, plus the evocative and complex accompanying music, gives Belly dance enormous appeal as an entertainment and as a creative pastime.

Brisbane based dance and music school, Hipnotic Bellydance is committed to representing Belly dance as an art, creating and exploring new directions whilst respecting its traditions and cultural origins.

Tamara Taylor has over 18 years of experience in Middle Eastern dance and brings her skills as teacher, performer and events organiser to “Hipnotic Bellydance” providing, expert tuition, stunning performances and exciting events.
 
Tamara is one of Brisbane's most sought after Belly Dance artists, performing at private and corporate functions, festivals and restaurants.
 
Throughout her 18 year career, Tamara has worked with musicians to create performances that are artistic representations of this beautiful dance form, her authentic style of dance growing out of her love of music. These musicians include: “Xenos” (Macedonian Gypsy band), “Camoon”, “Drum Arabic” and “Hide and Sheik” (with Andy Busuttil), Adel Amin, Nasser Masri and “Muziz”. Her extensive performance experience includes Woodford Folk Festival 1995- 2006, BEMAC World Music Cafes and Cultivart concerts and functions for Arabic, Turkish and Greek communities in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Tamara currently dances and plays percussion with music and dance ensemble “Muziz”.
