“Empowering kids to live & love life caring for our earth & one another”

We were very lucky to secure The Jitterbugs for our annual community event, Australia Day Celebrations Carss Bush Park 2011and 2012. Their communication throughout the process was fantastic. They were also able to provide all the professional documentation we required as a pre-requiste to engaging their services without fuss. On the actual day, they followed all of our instructions and gave our young audience a compelling and exciting performance. The Jitterbugs were fresh, fun and informative. Thank you, Jitterbugs, for making Australia Day 2011 & 2012 at Carss Bush Park a great success. We look forward to working with you again. All the best!!

“Your professionalism, the Jitterbugs friendliness, and great organization skills made our family day Dec. Christmas Party a very memorable one.  Despite last minute changes and add on tasks, you did it with a smile and delivered a spectacular show, not to mention the vibrant costumes with the lively Jitterbugs bursting into songs which mesmerized both the kids and adults too.
Highly recommend for corporate family days and entertainment for kids”
Melanie Joisce,  Executive Assistant,  HYUNDAI  MOTOR COMPANY AUSTRALIA PTY LTD

“The Jitterbugs performed for our companies Xmas Family Day November 2010 and truly made it a special event for young and older.  The performance, story line, costumes, music was great and they topped it off by getting our Santa involved and helped giving out presents to kids. Thank you Jitterbugs for making it a truly great and memorable event.
Many thanks and until next year!!”

Hi Ellen, Thanks again for coming along and entertaining the kids at the Royal Motor Yacht Clubs Annual Kids Christmas Party Newport. Although I could not be there on the day the reports from our members was that it was a fantastic morning of entertainment, singing and dance. I hear that the kids loved the spider the best and were also extremely excited to see the crocodile slither down the stairwell… Both the parents and children were most entertained and we look forward to working with you again in the future.
Karen Baldwin,  General Manager,  ROYAL MOTOR YACHT CLUB

“On behalf of 5000 special kids and carers, many, many thanks for supporting Variety and participating in the 2010 & 2011 Variety Children's Christmas party. It is really appreciated in what must be an incredibly busy time of year for you all.
From the smiles and dancing way back from the stage, the Jitterbugs were a real hit. Everyone enjoyed their involvement and interaction.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I look forward to seeing you again
Best wishes”

“The Jitterbugs performed at Darling Harbour on Australia Day to a capacity crowd of all ages, who were totally entertained and thrilled by their performance. In a time where there is an abundance of very ordinary, patronising and mostly derivative children’s entertainment, I was delightfully surprised by the very original, highly energetic and very entertaining performance. Their show is a very polished show performed by extremely dedicated performers and their costumed friends who have an undeniable talent for entertaining children. We will be having them back very soon!”
Sal Sharah,  Events Co-ordinator, Performance,  DARLING HARBOUR

‘The Jitterbugs’ features uniquely bug characters on stage throughout the show with lots of audience participation and giveaways. Entertainment for the kids during school holidays has become “BIG” business which in the past have been dominated mostly by the guys - namely “The Wiggles” and “The Hooley Dooleys” and have proven very popular with the kids. But, Watch out guys!  ‘The Jitterbugs’ are on your trail!”
Norm Bakker,  Entertainment Manager,  HORNSBY RSL CLUB

‘The Jitterbugs’ School Holiday performances during the recent April NSW School Holidays ‘The Jitterbugs’ performed two high energy shows over 3 days at St Ives Shopping village. Their colourful characters and energetic young performers kept the crowds enthralled and delighted. We had strong attendance at all shows and this translated into full capacity participants in other activities offered in the centre before and after the shows. We believe that it was the attraction of The jitterbugs that brought the crowds into the centre. Customers from outside of our traditional trading zone came just for ‘The Jitterbugs’. Ellen and her crew were highly professional adopting their performance to suit the environment and the audience. Ellen made sure that two distinct shows were performed each day to encourage the audience to stay until the next show. This tactic worked very well with strong attendances of over 100 at each show. More importantly the residual impact at our retailers (especially food and beverages) was noticed with increased activity in the adjacent food court between shows. St Ives Shopping Village will definitely be booking ‘The Jitterbugs’ again for next year’s program of holiday entertainment. Please feel free to contact the undersigned should you wish to discuss our recommendations further.”
Sue McKindlay,  Marketing Manager,  ST IVES SHOPPING VILLAGE

“The Jitterbugs brought in the crowds with their “Get Up & Go” show
at Winston Hills Mall during January, 2006.
Their high energy show attracted huge audiences and their effervescent personalities coupled with great performances kept the crowds completely entertained. Their professionalism shined through as seasoned artists.
Great voices, cute costumes, catchy music, infectious energy and great fun. You couldn’t do better for a holiday show that actually entertains.
Great cast and good management!”
Kerry Christoff,  WINSTON HILLS MALL

“We have been associated with The Jitterbugs for 8 years.
The Jitterbugs have proven to be very popular with our youngsters. The Jitterbugs are so popular we had to go from one night a month to two.
Our partnership with The Jitterbugs has been one of the best moves we have made.”
Karen Newlan,  Promotions Manager, Club Five Dock
“The Jitterbugs” presentation is “bright and tight”, reflecting long hours of rehearsal but at the same time they never appeared to lose touch with their audience, be it the young on whom their act is focused or the older folk who were obviously entertained as well. Someone in my hearing said, “Look out the Wiggles!” I think they may be right. The Jitterbugs is a class kids act that stretches further than most! I was most impressed.”
F. John MacKenzie,  Events Co-ordinator,  WESTFIELDS

““We broadcast the Classic Hits 2WS breakfast show once a month from a different school around Sydney… we call it Back To School Friday and I must say that ‘The Jitterbugs’ have been a great additive to all our shows. Greg Pace presenter/producer from 2WS says “The children absolutely LOVE them and when all the characters come out to do their thing, it’s really hard to contain them…talk about excited!!!”
I think that it’s great that ‘The Jitterbugs’ are out there with this energetic colourful show that’s really hard to ignore… sooner or later you feel the URGE  to get up with all the kids and dance around. Someone once said, “Work like you don’t need the Money and Dance like there’s no one Watching… and it’s True…” ‘The Jitterbugs’ are always Fun, Energetic & Entertaining, a hardworking outfit that everyone loves… and the ones that are unaware of them, well…they’re missing out!””
Greg Pace,  Presenter- Producer,  RADIO STATION 2WS

“On behalf of Parramatta City Council, I would like to extend our gratitude for your great work at the Australia Day Celebrations. ‘The Jitterbugs’ delivered a fantastic show, enjoyed by children and adults alike. The choreography, costumes and repertoire were truly first class. Australia Day in Parramatta attracted record crowds this year- estimated at 180,000 throughout the day-and it is council’s belief that it was the standard of entertainment that brought the people to the park in droves. The program included James Morrison, Rhonda Burchmore, Spice Power Tribute Show, Fireworks and it was great to have ‘The Jitterbugs’ as part of that outstanding program.”
