Big Al's boisterous, addictive persona has seen him become arguably Adelaide's most popular and adored comedian. Crowds and comedians love to be around his booming unforgettable laugh. Quick, energising and charming with rapid fire delivery, Big Al is a character that many people meet, but certainly no one ever forgets.

Big Al began his stand up career in 2000 when he was discovered in a youth theatre play called "Tabloid?. After a few short stand-up comedy stints, things radically escalated when he got into the state finals of Raw Comedy.

Before long, Big Al has become a firm favorite among his peers and audiences in the Adelaide comedy scene and along with countless appearances on the Austereo networks "Home Grown Humour?, he scored himself his own show on Fresh FM - ?The Thursday Ka-boom?.

After his successful 2004 fringe debut with Scott John in "Scott and Big Al's Big Night Out?, Big Al's star continued to rise and in 2005 as he was voted South Australia's Funniest Man in the FHM National Talent search.

2005 also saw his induction into the "Adelaide Comedy Hall of Fame?, an honour shared with only a few including the likes of Greg Fleet, Lehmo and Justin Hamilton.

Big Al has been personally head hunted by such comedians as Bruno Lucia, Austentatious, Eddie Ifft and Justin Hamilton.
