TERRY NORTH

Terry North is regarded as one of Australia’s best imported comic hosts.

 With a comic career that started in the UK writing sketches for Hale & Pace and The Russ Abbott show, as well as performing in many comedy plays and pantomimes.

 Terry North hit the Australian comedy scene when he settled in Melbourne in 1996. Beginning at the legendary Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda, Terry went on to the national Final of the JJJ Raw Comedy Competition in 2001. Now a veteran of the Australian comedy scene.

 Terry can perform sets of whatever length is required, tailored to whatever crowd is in front of him. He has just completed the 2008 “Top Shelf Tour” of far North Queensland and surrounding islands performing 10 shows in 10 days to raise money and awareness for Camp Quality Australia.

Live Work: Regular hosting appearances and headline sets at comedy clubs across Australia, New Zealand and the UK, including Auckland’s Classic Comedy Bar, Jongleurs Comedy Clubs in London, The Comics Lounge Melbourne, Crown Casino Melbourne, The Toorak Lion, The Comedy Store Sydney, Dockside Comedy Bar Brisbane and the Sit Down Comedy Club Brisbane.

Terry is one of the resident MC’s at Melbourne’s Last Laugh Comedy Club.

Extensive touring throughout regional Victoria, NSW and Qld.

Terry has worked with, and supported some of the biggest names in Australian comedy including: Dave Hughes, Dave O’Neill, Dave Grant, Jimeoin, Cal Wilson, Greg Fleet, Fiona O’Loughlin and many many more.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival: 2009 IT ALL PIONTS NORTH + BEST OF BRITISH

Hosted the highly successful 2008 show “The Best of British” with fellow UK comedians Nik Coppin, Dan Willis and Mark Butler and Jimeoin. 2006
