Four of the funniest dads in the country are having audiences in stitches with their standup comedy show, Who’s Your Daddy. Terry North, Pete Melrose, JJ McLean and Mr Alabama, have been wowing audiences with their hilarious take on fatherhood in the 21st Century. Since first appearing at the 2009 Melbourne Fringe Festival,

Who’s Your Daddy has gone from strength to strength in the St Kilda Laughs festival and the 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, as well as numerous football club fund raisers, several corporate shows and even television spots. “It is well received by the audiences, the audiences love seeing aspects of their own parenting and being able to laugh at it”, said Terry North, the show’s MC, former writer for Hail and Pace and a veteran of the standup circuit in Melbourne and across the country, and his native UK. “Together we have 13 children and 11 grandchildren, so we’ve got a pretty good idea what it’s all about” said Pete Melrose, a Melbourne Comic who lives often in Brisbane and also a Child and Family Therapist. “But I don’t talk about clients, there is enough craziness in my own family” he adds.

Reviews have been very positive as well and the show seems to hits a familiar nerve with the families who have seen it. “Even couples without kids are laughing, it must be great being able to relate, from a safe distance” JJ McLean, a well known Melbourne comic says. Despite a rigorous schedule of shows, the boys do not seem to lose any of their energy. “Every night is a bit different, we love doing this show – and it gets us out of the house” says Mr Alabama, a USA comic now living in Melbourne. Having worked with some of the biggest names in Australian comedy, these guys come together from four corners of the globe to put on a stand-up comedy sensation for the dads and mums and everyone else.
