DI BIRD’S RED HOT & BLUE

The group has just completed a four and a half year residency at the Coogee Legion Club.

The release of their first c.d. "Things are Swingin" documents the latest stage in their musical development, and brings Swing and Latin to a larger audience.

Incorporating some of Sydney's finest musicians, the group has covered every genre of the musical spectrum. The band's line-up is:

Favouring the swing tunes made famous by Ella, Sarah Vaughn and Billy Holliday, the band also plays some colourful blues and latin. The band also does special arrangements, including front-line instruments.

Regular special guests have included George Washingmachine, Dan Barnett, Errol Buddle, Ian Cooper and Bob Barnard.
