Traditional Japanese Drumming
Wadaiko, an integral part of Japanese culture for 1000 years, has recently undergone a huge revival and become a spectacular performance art. Toshi and Junko Sakarnoto are accomplished players and teachers of wadaiko traditional Japanese drumming.
Toshi has performed, taught and run workshops throughout Australia since 1995 and was joined in this work by his wife Junko in 1998. Corporate Events Give your corporate event an absolutely stunning-introduction and focus with a spectacular display of the stamina and strength of wadaiko.

Toshi and Junko will work with small groups, introduce them to some basic wadaiko skills and have them produce an ensemble piece within an hour. It's creative, it's cooperative and it's lots of fun. .Use wadaiko as Warm-up exercise at the beginning of a seminar or workshop; Have several groups work on pieces during the day or over the time of the seminar and have each group perform as a finale; Or let the team display their enthusiasm, stamina and ability to work as a team with a surprise opening wadaiko number.
