Scarlett is a burlesque performer with a background in classical ballet and theatre performance - an alluring and captivating combination for audiences who seek a thrill in the beauty of dance and the tease of burlesque.

Scarlett's shows are heavily influenced by music that inspires and movement that enraptures. With over 15 years of performing history, Scarlett brings an elegant edge to classic and neo-burlesque. Her toes have graced stages in Sydney, Europe and Asia, and more recent achievements include popular burlesque festivals, theatre/caberet shows and work for local and notable artists.

Scarlett's acts include:

  • Temptation: It’s all in the glove… Imagine a beauty adorned with black sheers and Italian corsetry… only to be tempted by the simple peeling of the glove. This Tom Waits classic piece in rife with slow and sultry looks, liquid movement and poise, and all the remaining ingredients for pure tease without any please.
  • Le Petits Papiers: To be so French and Fabulous… What more is there to be said about pearls, tulle, French music? Only that they come hand in hand with attitude, glamour and cheeky seduction. A twist on classic burlesque tease.
  • Swan Lake: Simply put its Swan Lake meets Burlesque… A beautiful and fragile swan gushes to the stage concealed by her feathered wings. In time she explores the use of her feet, legs and arms and takes flight by shedding that which hides her. This piece is performed to a classic 7 min Tchaikovsky score and exhibits the graceful years of Scarlett’s classical ballet training- naturally with a hint of yearning and seduction.
  • Classic Burlesque: Travelling back with Duke Ellington and Cootie Williams, this classic number is pure and simple: seduction and strip in all of Burlesque’s glory. This piece is classic and classy.
  • Apocolyptica: Darkness meets seductive awakening… A piece of exploration - a performer suddenly becomes aware of the presence of her audience in front of her. The passion and intensity of the music, a cellist cover of a Metallica song, is reflected in her movements. She is acutely aware of the impact a gesture can make on those watching. This piece is riddled with fierce glances and moments that provoke the audience.
  • Next: This burlesque clown, come ragdoll, will intrigue, intimidate and surprise you. Adorned with a leather whip, this character is calculating and curious of any audience. Watch out.
  • High wire: Don’t look down… She balances on the edge, a deathly fall awaits should she fall even slightly off kilt. A red ribbon before her, an eager audience beside her, and a pair of black ribboned Pointe shoes supporting her every move. She travels back and forth like a high rope walker, peeling layers of clothing, a carnival of burlesque.
  • Flower Girl: Timid beauty, adorned with flowers and hiding behind locks of hair. French music trickling and tantalising. As each flower falls, so does inhibition.
