" comedy ?............ Well it is a comedy genre that makes use of humorous objects, or conventional objects used in humorous ways.  Although some form of prop comedy has likely existed as long as there has been comedians, the genre reached its zenith in the vaudeville era. A prop comic is a comedian who makes use of prop comedy.

Props are any items that the comedian or comic uses in an absurd way including a ventriloquist puppet that falls apart while singing FIGARO, to the classical piece “BIZET’S: Prelude (CARMEN) played with whoopee cushions, then while trying to sing opera using an old record as backing it keeps skipping tracks going from "Riverdance" to the "Stripper" & the "Can Can" music just to name a few – a coatt that comes alive -  a singin dancing baby - magic tricks that ALL  go wrong.
