SAMIR AKA MURFFELZ

Samir Abraham aka "Samir" is a recording artist and entertainer. He has been in the music scene for over 4 years locally and has been the opening act for major tours such as Nelly, 50 Cent, Ruffryders(DMX), Jin, Adina Howard, Obie Trice and The Outlaws. As well as headlining tours, Samir is now putting the finishing touches on his debut EP which consists of music a large majority of people who have seen him perform are already familiar with as well as  working on his complete Album that is anticipated the 2nd quarter of 2008.

What he bring to the table is a high energy set that focuses on audience participation, creating a good vibe and ambience as well as ensuring the crowds is kept entertained. Through his 4+ years of opening and hosting shows, Samir has learnt to involve the audience by the use of call and response hooks/phrases, talking to the audience and building a rapport with the audience to make them want to participate in the show and have a good time.

Musically, his individual way of mixing larger than life beats with several tones of delivery and unique wordplay has proved to be one of his greatest strengths,add to this, he has selected and trained other musicians who he works with to do the same and raise their profile by helping them find and deliver their sound and personality through the music.

Born in Sydney and raised both locally and overseas, Samir has not only lived here in Australia, but has lived South & North Carolina. Using his down south influence, mixed with his ghostly, outrageous vocals, Samir brings to you a unique, addicting flow that will leave you wanting more.     1X Scratch Mixer
    1X Booth Monitor
    1X Microphone on Stand
(In-house DJ Console must be placed on stage)

There must be an allocated time for sound check on the day of the performance. Preferably 4 or more hours before the show to allow the artist to get familiar with the particular setup. Its preferable that the venue have a sound engineer available or hire one at their own cost.

The DJ console must be placed on stage. If the venue does not have a stage and are preparing to build a stage they must consult Samir or DIME Entertainment in reference to the stage size, as we require that is should be able to fit : 2X artists, and 1X DJ. In regards to lighting we require if possible 2xx Siren lights.

If the venue has a video projector or plasma screen, we may require it to play our music video or promotional material while the show is going on and the artist is performing.

It is preferable that the venue has a dress room.
