ROSS SKIFFINGTON

Ross moved to Australia and over the past twenty five years has worked with theatre companies, television networks, corporate and film production houses as an Actor, Illusionist, Director and Magic Consultant. He trained in New Zealand as an actor at the Mercury Theatre and graduated from Auckland University with a Diploma in Fine Arts. He has written and directed original works for the theatre (Tricks, Patrick's Hat Trick, Electricks, The Fabulous Fontaines!) and is the only Illusionist to have appeared in every Casino showroom in Australia either as a consultant, writer-director, solo artist or with his own illusion and dance shows. Director of the 1997 Melbourne International Festival of the Arts Opening Night Spectacular and in the same year wrote and directed 'Firefly Magic' for The Reef Hotel Casino in Cairns. Some of the shows Ross was magic consultant for are Disney's Beauty & The Beast, A Little Night Music, Into The Woods, The Hobbit. He is currently Writer, Associate Director and Magic Consultant for CHINOIS! an Acrobatic Spectacular to open in Beijing. He recently presented ELECTRICKS -'99 at Highpoint Shopping and Entertainment Centre and in Dubai, United Arab Emeraites.
