From her beginnings as a successful international fashion model Kelly’s star has continued to rise as a TV personality, firstly with Channel Seven and now as a presenter on Channel Nine’s Getaway.
Kelly’s engaging smile, warm personality and ability to appeal to a wide audience, was no doubt a key factor in Channel Nine choosing Kelly to co-host with Tim Campbell in the re-vamped version of the game show Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune, which recently ceased production.
Kelly began her TV career as a presenter with the popular travelshow Coxy’sBig Breakon Channel Seven in 2006. Seven quickly recognised Kelly’s potential in front of the camera, with further presenting roles on Sunrise, That’s Melbourne, and as the host of Tuesday and Saturday’s Lottodraw. Kelly is also featured in Seven’s City of Melbourneadvertising campaign.
With a love of fashion and horse racing, Kelly was an obvious choice as the ambassador for Myer’s Fashion on the Fields for Melbourne’s 2007 Spring Racing Carnival alongside Daniel Macpherson. Kelly relished the role appearing prominently in Channel Seven’s Spring Carnival coverage, and appearing and speaking at a number of events throughout the week.
Not just a pretty face, Kelly has a number of strings to her bow. She holds a Bachelor of Business/Public Relations; is involved in community and charitable activities such as the annual Royal Children’s Hospital Appealand is an ambassador for children’s charity Variety; and even has some acting credits to her name, with small roles in Queen of the Damnedand Horseplay. Kelly is also an accomplished MC and corporate host.
Kelly has a keen interest in sports including her beloved AFL team Geelong, is an avid golfer, and is a self confessed action junkie, taking every opportunity to try something new, recently adding rock climbing, skydiving and driving a tank to her adventure list.
There is no doubt this gifted TV presenter is heading for a longand distinguished career as one of Australia’s favourite TV personalities.
