BEAT AROUND THE BUSH BAND

Beat Around The Bush have been playing the folk circuit for over 15 years. We have played countless weddings, bush dances, school shows and festivals. Our dances are a heap of fun with traditional dances being altered for an extra twist, under the zany direction of our crazed caller Ricardo. The music ranges from traditional Celtic tunes and ballads to original songs especially written by Phil Beggs. The group consists of: Phil Beggs on lead vocals, guitar and mandolin. Phil Carroll on accordion, flute, whistles and vocals. Helen Searle on the fiddle Richard Kentwell on lagerphone, percussion and calling Dave Bailey on bass and vocals.
