‘Cachicamo Latin Harp’ are an exuberant group from Colombia playing indigenous Latin-American music featuring the virtuoso Latin Harp playing of Sandra Real, and passionate Latin American songs featuring the beautiful vocals of Marina Varney. Elkin Bernal plays Cuatro Llanero (meaning four strings from the plains), Bongos, Congas, Maracas etc. John Varney provides seamless rhythms on Double Bass. Steven Galeano plays the Spanish guitar and sings. Their performances are colourful and joyful with a very danceable acoustic salsa feel. The group's music is as wild and unique as the ‘Cachicamo’, a small Armadillo-like creature from Colombia from whom they take their name!
