There are 2 plagues in this fair city of Verona. 1st the plague that has taken our loved ones from us 2nd the family feud between the Montegues and the Capulets.

"Listen to me I have a solution.. an old recipe that will put a person to sleep for 2 and 40 hours." Innocent enough except for tragic circumstances.

Remember the Porter

  ( Away into and out of Shakespeare's Macbeth)

The low caste character of the porter the door opener in this twisting tale of who and who isn't ...too full of the milk of human kindness ... talks with amazing clarity about all that has forsaken him these last months ... ambition bloody murder ... guilt ... timeless murmurings in ones sleep ... not to mention 'unsex me here'. The porter whispers his secrets and rants his rememberings.

   lago goes back over his life. His jealousy 'his ambition' In the end he has nothing. The opening scene could see him taking his own life but the audience wants to know more and lago in his maudlin way ... tells why ...an insight into a twisted mind who believes they have no choice.
