FINA - SOLO SINGER / KARAOKE HOST

Born and raised in Brisbane, Fina started singing at a very early age then continued on to school musicals and church choirs throughout her school years. At 15 she was the lead singer of a ballads band in Toowoomba until after high school.  After winning the Stairway to the Stars competition final in 1982 Fina continued on as a solo singer for many years around the local scenes of Brisbane and surrounding rural areas.

For two years, she also hosted Karaoke gigs three times a week for Funda Down Unda Karaoke, based in Brisbane. Tricia Duncan, Director of Funda Down Unda quotes "As one of our regular karaoke singers and with a mesmerizing stage presence, we asked Fina to host some of our karaoke gigs. She is a complete natural host and mentors other karaoke singers in both vocal and stage techniques."

As a solo artist, Fina performs songs from Abba to John Farnham, from Dixie Chicks to Cher with her repertoire consisting of approximately 250 songs from oldies to the lastest releases.  With a voice that’s strong, warm and versatile Fina has a rare gift to penetrate the heart of things that lifts her songs out of the ordinary.  Fina also possesses the ability to choose songs suited to the audience and she is always willing to perform any song requested by the audience.  Her repertoire song list can be found under media.

As a karaoke host, Fina has approximately 2,500 karaoke songs again consisting of oldies to the latest releases for every type of audience.  With two microphones, the audience can perform either solely or as a duo.  As an experienced entertainer, Fina strives to provide that little bit extra than your average karaoke show.

Fina possseses her own Fender 500w sound system with cord and cordless microphones, stage lighting and the ability to hook into an audience TV for karaoke nights.  This sound system suits any venue from small pub rooms to large conference rooms and outdoor gardens.

Since leaving Brisbane in April 2008 to travel Australia, Fina has performed a number of gigs in outback pubs such as the White Cliffs Hotel.  Graeme Wellings, Publican of White Cliffs Hotel says "Fina is a fantastic singer suited to any genre - country, ballads, pop and rock.  She encourages the audience to join in and most of all to have a lot of fun.  Her professional system can make any novice singer sound better than they ever imagined."

After over 40 years experience in the music industry, Fina is currently travelling around Australia performing solo and karaoke gigs around the local club, pub and restaurant scenes.  With enough notice, she is willing to travel to any destination.
