THE DIVINE SISTERS

THE DIVINE SISTERS

The Divine Sisters is a 25 minute premium entertainment act inspired by the 1940's wartime trios.

Melbourne, VIC, Australia

The Divine Sisters is a 25 minute premium entertainment act inspired by the 1940's wartime trios. During World War II, acts like the Andrews Sisters entertained the US and Allied forces extensively in war zones overseas. The close harmony singing style is an arrangement of the notes of chords within a narrow range to create a unique and sensational sound.

The roles of the Divine Sisters - Gloria, Daphne and Mary - are performed by a rotating cast of Australia's established and up-and-coming musical theatre stars. Popular songs performed include Stuff Like That There, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Mr Sandman.

Three formats are available:

1. Army show - featuring the girls in sexy army jackets, hats and seamed stockings performing the show in an 'entertaining the troops' style!

2. Civilian show – coming soon. Same as army show but girls appear in vintage dresses instead of army uniform.

3. Christmas Show - available late 2010 in army or civilian formats. Same as either Army or Civilian shows except girls include some Christmas songs in the repertoire and wear Santa hats!
