Roller Derby All Girl Roller Derby is a full contact, quad roller skate sport for women aged 18 years and over. It is played on an oval shaped rink where one player on each side tries to lap the opposing team to score points - and it’s up to the others to stop her. So, Ya Wanna be a Derby Queen? Perfecting your derby attitude is your first step but chances are, if you’ve come across a Sun State Roller Girl than you already have a hefty dose of the right stuff. Sun State Roller Girls aim to develop a group of women who are committed and passionate about the sport of flat track roller derby. We are a non-profit Association, run by the skaters, for the skaters and are dedicated to promoting both sport and spectacle. Safety, athleticism and teamwork are highly regarded values for our league as we structure a fun, empowering and enduring experience for the women of Brisbane. How do I get Started?
