IAN KIERNAN

Ian Kiernan, OA - CEO Clean Up The World, is one of the most influential environmentalists in the world today.  His leadership and success is an inspiration to all.

Brief History

• He is the spokesperson for Clean Up Australia and Clean Up the World and in 1993 saw 30 million people in 80 countries participate in his initiative of picking up rubbish, whilst in 1997 that had grown to 40 million people from 120 countries.
• Ian was Chairman of the Sydney Olympics 2000 Bid Community Relations Committee, is a member of the Premierâs Olympic Business Roundtable and in 1998 was named among 100 other leading Australians as a "National Living Treasure".
• Ian Kiernan is an amazing man who in 1994 was named Australian of the Year and awarded the Order of Australia in 1995.
