Brief History

• 2001 appointed Head Coach of Australian Men's National Basketball team, the Boomers, first foreign born coach ever to be awarded this position
• Won 2 NBL Championships
• Awarded Coach of the Year on three occasions
• 15th consecutive year as an NBL Head Coach
• 12 consecutive years his teams have reached the NBL Finals, including appearing in a grand total of 7 Grand Finals
• Most successful coach ever in NBL, winning over 300 games and a win percentage of 68%
• 1977 joined Melbourne Tigers and played seven seasons under coach Lindsay Gaze
