Darren Glass - Captain of the West Coast Eagles Football Club
Darren capped off another wonderful season in 2007 by winning the Club Championship for the first time after finishing 2nd behind Chris Judd the previous season.
Season 2007 also saw Darren deservedly rewarded with All Australian selection as full back for the 2nd successive year.
Strong and deceptively quick, Darren is widely regarded as one of the elite defenders in the AFL, rarely beaten in a one on one contest he stood up in West Coast's disappointing final series by easily accounting for his opponents against Port Adelaide and Collingwood and showed his leadership qualities. His standing and respect in the competition has seen West Coast appoint him as their new captain for 2008 and beyond, further enhancing an already fine reputation as a leader.
At 26 years of age, Darren is in the prime of his career and during what was a tough 2008 season for the West Coast Eagles he has taken on the responsibility to lead the next generation of Eagles through this tough period toward what Eagle's fans hope to be another dominant era
Darren is based in Perth and is availalble for appearances and Q&A.
