Ben is a fast paced, reliable, comical emcee, presenter that guarantees; enthusiasm, passion and lots of humor, to ensure your event is one to be remembered. Whether you require an emcee for your function, a host for an activities/team building event, or, a reporter in the field, Ben Powney is sure to include; a lot of fun to the event. Ben's strong points as an emcee are; working with the crowd, improv humor, strong organizational skills, clear direction and most importantly, an ability to adapt to the crowd and come across as a light-hearted, fun, energetic, humorous, down to earth, genuine entertainer.

Ben has had over 10 years experience as an emcee, creative writer, presenter, emcee, comic, voiceover artist and all round; entertainer. Currently he is employed at Australia Zoo as the leading master of ceremonies in the Animal Planet Crocoseum. Ben has also co-written and contributed ideas to many of the animal presentations that are performed on a daily basis. Perhaps, Ben is most recognizable as the Official Steve Irwin Impersonator. It was when Ben first met Steve Irwin face-to-face, 5 years ago, that Steve said to Ben; “Crikey Mate – You sound just like me!, Can you do an impersonation of me?”. So naturally, Ben did, and it was later viewed by an audience of over 5 million people worldwide and a favorite of Steve Irwin!
