Passengers on board Spirit of Tasmania will feel the Latino rhythm and enjoy a Salsa Spectacular as dancing fever takes over the ship. Sensational salsa entertainers will be performing a vibrant and exciting display as well as teaching passengers some moves on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 December. The Salsa Spectacular coincides with the run up to the Australian Dancesport Championships and the World Latin Championships taking place in Melbourne from 8 December this year. What better way to prepare for the glitz and glamour of the event than to learn how to salsa dance like a professional? Guests will Mambo and Cha Cha the night away under the stars. Special dance movie classics such as “Strictly Ballroom” and “Dirty Dancing” will also be screening on board. Gabby Torrisi, Salsa Melbourne’s Director, said, “I am really looking forward to this unique and magical journey through Latin music and dance on the Spirit of Tasmania.
