The Vectrix electric super scooter is an Italian made bike with high quality components, which emits virtually no noise or pollution. No longer is there the need for fuel bills or traffic jams, as the Vectrix super scooter can go from 0-80 km/h in 6.5 secs and can park anywhere in Victoria for free. The bike can be charged from any power point and running costs are approximately only $45 per year, with a 24 month warranty and estimated battery life of 10 years.
Vectrix is holding their exclusive launch commencing on the Saturday night of the 27th of October 2007 for cocktails between 6pm -10pm at the Westien Melbourne on Collins Street, and is strictly invitation only. However the following day, Sunday the 28th of October, guests and the general public are welcome to come to the Melbourne store to test ride the first environmentally friendly electric bike in Australia and talk with media, government and VIPs. On the Sunday afternoon test rides will take place at 164 Rouse Street, Port Melbourne between 11am -4pm.
