YOU ARE INVITED to get involved with the annual UTS in-fusion festival – an international festival of food, music and dance.
An international market place is created on campus for all to enjoy. Both main stage and roving acts are sourced throughout the year to perform at In-fusion. Please note most performances will take place during business hours on week days. Apply (via the website or email) only if you are available at these times.
There will be lunchtime concerts on the concourse Main Stage as well as entertainment in a variety of locations and times throughout the week.
Highlights from previous years have included a diverse range of student, staff and acclaimed acts: · Watussi - fusion, funk and latin hip hop at the Glasshouse Bar · Waiting For Guinness - ready for a rollicking good ‘ol Irish time? · Samba Dance Troupe - a parade through the campus · Capoeira Dancers- a spectacle not to be missed! · Traditional Balinese dancers, Jalsa Creole, Indigenous storytellers, Fijian Dancers, Choirs, Bell-Ringers, breakdancers and lots more!
The UTS In-fusion festival is an exciting celebration of the diversity of our UTS community, bringing together local and international students and staff to celebrate everything from Celtic to Cambodian, Reggae to Rock, Thai to Tabouli and Hollywood to Bollywood.
It is a great way to experience and build on the rich diversity, fun and talent of our UTS and greater community. In-fusion is a collaboration between the Student Services and the Union.
