FAMDA's latest production is a quirky drama written by British TV screenwriter, Dennis Potter, which was first shown on the BBC in 1979. It featured seven adult actors, including Helen Mirren, playing the roles of children in 1943, when Britain was in the depths of World War II. It's loaded with laughs, but has a distinct sting in the tail, as the play shows how victimisation and stereotypical views occur, even in young children. Under Max Hastings' direction, FAMDA has assembled a fantastic cast and production team to bring this thought-provoking play to rural Victoria. Opening Gala performance is at 8.00 p.m. on Friday 16th May, with the final performance on 24th May. BOOK NOW!
