Australian audiences have adored Alyce Platt since the early 80’s when she appeared on their TV screens via Sale of the Century and Sons and Daughters.  
Alyce has starred on stage as well as TV and film: On The Beach, Blue Heelers, Good Guys Bad Guys, A Country Practice, State Coroner, Janus, Halifax FP…. Torch Song Trilogy, Sweet Charity, Love Letters, Cellophane Ceiling, Les Liaisons Dangereuses….
But she is also well loved in the music world. Alyce’s singing career has been varied and unique. She released her own ‘original’ songs as an EP, ‘Cowboys In The Attic’ to much acclaim.( website which sparked international interest, leading to gigs at the ‘Mink’ and ‘The Gig’ on Melrose in L.A. in 2001. She has appeared along side such luminaries as Hugh Jackman, 2007 Red Ball, Alyce and Hugh performed a duet together bringing the house down.
Alyce’s debut album, ‘Beautiful Death’ (released through Sound Vault Records) surprised critics and lead to a new, burgeoning career as a song writer and musician.
She released a second album in 2004 - Live from the Vault also through Sound Vault Records…and appears on the sound vault compilation album, ‘The sound of Sunday’ with Ross Wilson.
Alyce will appear as a semi regular character on channel sevens, adult drama - City Homicide. She is also starring in a new channel Ten children’s show, ‘The Elephant Princess’ and is a special guest on the forthcoming SBS drama , ‘Carla Cametti PD’.
