Dieter Kleemann

Dieter has performed in and around Australia for the last 20 years.Whilst still in his teens Dieter founded the Jazz Rock ensemble "Jupiter" which featured works by Chick Corea ,John Mclaughlin and others.Shortly thereafter he began to make a living playing mainstream music in and around Sydney as a freelance guiatris.During the nineties Dieter arranged and recorded radio MMM's theme song,co produced by Tim Ferris and consequently  released on mushroom records.During this time Dieter became more widely known throughout Australia's guitar community and in 1992 he began an 8 year stint as one of the countries leading guitar clinicians.This work led him to be invited to lecture at the Australian Institute of Music as one its founding teachers.

Dieter has worked with Tommy Tycho, Mike Harvey,Steve Hunter,Club Veg,Kamal,Deni Hines,Jacky Orscaczky ,Monica Trapega,Gary Daily,Tim Ferris,JohnRowe,Jeff Duff,Dave Mcloud,Leo Sayer,Bill Risby,Andre Crouch,Glen Shorrock,Doug Parkinson,Swing City Big Band,Mike Mathieson,Peter Northcote,Bodacious Cowboys(Steely Dan Tribute) etc....

Dieter,now enjoying being dad to two young boys has elected to work in a quieter environment and closer to home.He now plays accoustic guitars accompanied by his own superb backing tracks some of which are heard regularly on Mike Whitney's weekender show on Channel 7.

Dieters set list includes romantic ballads ,contemporary grooves and themes,well known pop songs,latin and jazz tunes,movie themes and a variety of ambient, celtic and world music...
